On this model, the crank connects to a pinion gear and bevel gear at the front, providing a 4:1 mechanical advantage. This means that 4 rotations of the handle = 1 rotation of the reel. This provides a very smooth operation with less force.
This hand crank rewind hose reel is ideal for a variety of applications for commercial and industrial use for instance that do not require any external power source for operation. These reels can be mounted on walls, floors, or ceilings for convenience and come in a variety of sizes to accommodate hoses of different lengths and diameters.
